Tacoma City Ballet presents its 71st season of The Nutcracker at the historic Pantages Theater in downtown Tacoma, accompanied live by the Tacoma City Ballet Orchestra. The full-length holiday ballet is pitched as a family outing and a holiday gift. There are five performances over two weekends: a Friday evening show on December 11 at 7 pm and four weekend matinees at 2 pm (December 12, 13, 19 and 20). Doors open one hour before each performance. Tickets are sold through Tacoma City Theaters, and the Pantages box office and the venue are cashless. Families with very young children can check the theater's 'Does my child need a ticket?' FAQ before booking.
