About this adventure
Olympic Ballet Theatre brings its annual production of The Nutcracker to the Everett Performing Arts Center for one weekend. The ballet features dancing snowflakes, a dramatic battle, waltzing flowers, Mother Ginger and her buffoons and Tchaikovsky's score. Regular performances run about 2 hours including one 15-minute intermission. The Friday, Dec. 11 10:30 a.m. show is an abridged 1 hour 15 minute matinee for school and other groups of 20 or more, with an 'Introduction to the Magic of Theatre' segment showing scenery, lighting, costumes and props behind the scenes; groups reserve with a form. The theater encourages dressing up, business casual to semi-formal.
