About this adventure
A volunteer cooking night for high school students at the Stroum JCC. The J provides all groceries, supplies and instructions, and teens cook a meal for 40 teens and young adults served by YouthCare, whose housing programs help young people experiencing homelessness. The event is for participants who have some cooking experience; staff help, but teens are the chefs. It is open to teens in 9th to 12th grade, and the SJCC asks that anyone who signs up shows up on time.
