Salmon Saturday is a free bilingual family festival at the Tukwila Community Center celebrating salmon, rivers and community. Children rotate through interactive learning stations about the salmon life cycle and how healthy rivers support wildlife and people, make salmon-themed arts and crafts, and play family games. When conditions allow, families can watch live salmon along the Duwamish River. Anglers and fishing families can get information, and local organizations share bilingual resources and ways to help protect salmon habitat. The festival is open to all ages and abilities, and the venue is ADA accessible.
