Bring the whole family to join a ranger on a guided 1.5-mile, easy hike through the 320-acre Mercer Slough Nature Park. This kid-oriented program teaches kids and parents about the park while discovering the birds and animals that call the slough home; the hour-long walk ends at the channel bridge in the middle of the park, from where you can keep exploring. Sundays 2-3:30 p.m. on November 8 and December 6, 2026. Pre-registration required. Meeting place: Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center.
