Seymour's Kids Club is the Washington State History Museum's monthly Saturday-morning family program, with hands-on sessions that introduce children ages 4 to 10 to the history and culture of Washington State. Each month has a different theme. On November 7, Teresa Martinez of Amano Seattle leads a Día de los Muertos piñata-making workshop with all materials and candy provided, capped at 25 participants. On December 5, the National Model Railroad Association and European Train Enthusiasts let children take the controls of a model train. January 2 is a time-capsule session. Admission is included with advance registration or general admission, and children 5 and under are always free.
