Kirkwood Public Library's Kids Cooking session on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 4 to 5 p.m. is hands-on: children ages 8 to 12 prepare simple, kid-friendly recipes themselves rather than watching a demonstration. Reservations are required (registration opened Oct. 1), and only the children attending should be registered. The library may photograph programs for its website and social media; let staff know on arrival if your child should not be photographed.
