- St. Louis Public Library (Live at SLPL) with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra
Six St. Louis Symphony Orchestra musicians and a host turn a Saturday morning concert into an interactive adventure in the Central Library auditorium downtown. In Music Quest, the audience becomes the hero on a mission to bring music back to the world, exploring sounds and solving small challenges along the way. The musicians play orchestral favorites including "In the Hall of the Mountain King," the William Tell Overture, Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and "The Entertainer." The library suggests it for ages 2 to 10, and it runs about an hour, a good length for a first concert. Part of the Live at SLPL series; expect music, bright colors and some loud passages in a shared space.
