On Free Friday, Nov. 20, the Saint Louis Art Museum's Education Center becomes an open studio from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. where visitors make handmade holiday cards, with calligraphy guidance from artists Dawn Buscher, Jenna Jordan and Emma Vonder Haar of The Studio at Bowood. SLAM's Open Studio sets out a wide range of materials and invites visitors of all ages and skill levels to experiment, so families can drop in, work at their own pace and leave with cards ready to send. The program is free and takes place in the museum's Education Center in Forest Park.
