Dunedin Public Library's Kind Kids Club gives children a hands-on way to help others. This month the club partners with Lotz of Blessings to assemble holiday activity bags for foster families: participants pack each bag with a gingerbread house, cookie mix, coloring books, crayons, bookmarks and holiday books, then make cards to brighten the season for the recipients. The library pitches it as a project the whole family can do together, so siblings of different ages can work side by side. The hour-long session is in the library's Community Meeting Room. Registration is required; it opens October 26 and closes at the start of the event. Free.
