Candy Canes and Cocoa is a 90-minute holiday program at Colvin Run Mill in Great Falls on Monday, December 21, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Participants decorate candy canes made by the site's blacksmith, explore holiday traditions, and finish the morning with hot cocoa and candy canes. The Fairfax County Park Authority lists it for ages 4 through adult. The fee is $12, and registration is online through the Park Authority's Parktakes system linked from the event page. Colvin Run Mill is at 10017 Colvin Run Road, Great Falls; the same site runs Santa at the Mill and the Holiday Lantern Tour earlier in December.
