At Chinquapin Park Recreation Center & Aquatics Facility, children pick their Halloween pumpkin straight out of the pool. After choosing a floating pumpkin, families make a seasonal craft and take home a festive goodie bag. The activity runs in 45-minute time slots so the pool deck never gets too crowded. It is open to all ages, costs $9, and requires registration for a slot.
