About this adventure

Coyote Creek Tube Park at Snow Valley is Big Bear Mountain Resort's snow-tubing hill nearest to the Los Angeles side of the mountains, set between Chairs 12 and 13. A tubing ticket buys a 1 hour 30 minute time slot of unlimited runs on up to six 400-foot lanes, with a moving carpet back to the top and one tube per rider. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall and weigh 40 to 270 pounds, and there is no sharing tubes or riding on laps. Younger children who are too small for tubing can use the gated Snow Play area at the base of the hill, which has no height, weight or ability limits; a tubing ticket includes Snow Play, but not the other way round. Every guest needs a ticket, infants included, and season ski passes do not cover tubing or snow play. Waterproof snow bibs for kids can be rented on site for $20 while sizes last, and a shop at the base sells gloves and gear. Pets are not allowed in the Snow Play area.
