Cyclovia ATX is a free, car-free 'Living Streets' festival produced by the Ghisallo Cycling Initiative. In 2026 it is based at the Windsor Park Branch Library in northeast Austin, with about half a mile of Westminster Drive closed to cars. The focus is human-powered transportation: there are bicycling clinics, skateboarding, roller skating, yoga, ultimate frisbee and performances, plus a managed one-mile family bike parade from the library around Blanton Elementary. Families can bring a blanket and snacks for the Everybody Eats community picnic (which doubles as a Keep Austin Fed food drive) and pick up a free raffle ticket at check-in for the noon drawing. Nothing is sold at the event and all activities are free; organizers ask attendees to reserve free tickets on Eventbrite. It suits all ages and abilities, from toddlers on balance bikes to teens; bring helmets and arrive by bike, foot or bus if possible because neighborhood no-parking rules are enforced.
