Organizer

School of Rock Austin

Performance-based music school on the Burnet Road side of Northcross Mall. Rookies (typically ages 6-7, no experience needed) has one weekly group lesson on chords, rhythm and song structure across several instruments. Rock 101 (ages 8-13) pairs a weekly private lesson with a weekly group rehearsal of simplified classic rock songs. The Performance Program (ages 8-18) adds band rehearsals working toward live shows at Austin venues every few months. Songwriting is offered for age 12 and over, and a Little Wing program feeds into Rookies.
