Austin Scottish Rite Theater

A holiday comedy written by Trey Deason and co-produced with Crown Theatre. A ragtag troupe of performers sets out to stage the most profound and moving production of Dickens' A Christmas Carol ever produced — within budget — and everything goes wrong: the venue is double-booked, the stage manager is doubling as Bob Cratchit, and the actor playing Scrooge is missing, so the director has to step in. The show must go on, and along the way the cast rediscovers love, hope and friendship. The theater says it is appropriate for all audiences; run time is to be announced. Tickets are pay-what-you-can at $15, $25 or $35.
