The Columbus Museum of Art marks Día de los Muertos with a free, all-ages Community Day on Sunday, November 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A community ofrenda by artist Renee Zamora and a photo booth are open all day, and guests may bring an object or photo of a lost loved one to add to the ofrenda. From 10 a.m. to noon a family art activity invites children to make something honoring a person they remember, and bilingual English–Spanish storytimes with Columbus Metropolitan Library at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. feature books such as Little Skeletons and Mi Cuerpo Hace Música. From noon to 4 p.m. the community celebration adds nicho-box making, lotería taught by the Empowering Latina Leadership Academy, small bites from Casa Karmelitas, vendors and tarot readings. Performances include a cleansing offering at 12:15 p.m., soprano Cynthia López Olaya at 1 p.m., Ballet Folclórico Xochihua at 2 p.m., Taco Reparations Brigade at 3 p.m. and a closing ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Docent sessions in the Clare Rojas exhibition run hourly from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with Spanish or ASL interpretation. Registration is encouraged, but all are welcome.

The same text is in CMA's public ICS feed on api.sitewrench.com (curl works), with DTSTART 2026-11-01 10:00 America/New_York; the event page line reads 'Sunday, November 1' without a year, and Nov 1, 2026 is a Sunday. Page tags: Free, All Ages. The related 'Community Conversation on Grief' (Oct 25) was not recorded.
