Children ages 7 to 11 learn a simple weaving technique at the Main Library and use it to make a small woven evergreen tree for winter decorating. The hands-on craft hour is on Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 4 to 5 p.m., and each child takes the finished tree home. It is a good fit for kids who like fiber crafts or want to try something new.
