Westerville Parks and Recreation sets up Santa's Workshop in a calmer, sensory-friendly form for people with developmental, physical or invisible disabilities. In 30-minute sessions, participants build a toy or picture in the workshop with Santa's elves and visit with Santa himself. It takes place Sunday, Nov. 29, from 1 to 4 p.m. at a new location, the Westerville Community Center. Registration is needed for each person building a toy, at $15 each (activity #604331-01 through -07). The city says the registration link will be posted soon; questions go to the program supervisor at (614) 901-6511.
