About this adventure
Maize in the City is a 20-acre corn maze and fall festival in Thornton, family- and farmer-owned since 2001. Alongside the 20-acre corn maze, a smaller mini maze is built each year for younger visitors, plus pumpkin picking, a petting zoo and a variety of activities for all ages. Entering the site is free; attractions are a la carte and cost $0-$20 per person, purchased (cashless, card only) at the front of each attraction line. Pumpkins vary in price by variety and size. For the 2026 season the farm opened September 19 on weekends only and moves to Thursday-Sunday from October 15; attraction lines close one hour before the site closes and the big maze 1.5 hours before. All attractions are weather and field-condition dependent.
