Greenwood Village's annual Mayor's Holiday Lighting brings Mayor George Lantz and City Council together with residents to light up City Hall on Saturday, December 5, from 3:00 to 5:30 pm. The afternoon includes warm beverages, live music and entertainment, and a visit from Santa Claus, so children can share their wish lists and families can take photos in front of the decorated building, whose displays have included a lit-up snowman. It is a smaller, neighborhood-scale lighting that suits families with young children who prefer an early-evening event. Note that the City frames this as an event for Greenwood Village residents and distributes resident tickets through a 'Get tickets' link on the calendar entry, so non-residents should check with Parks, Trails and Recreation (303-486-5773) before planning to attend.
