Foothills Park & Recreation District

Foothills Park & Recreation District's annual son-and-parent dance has a secret-agent theme this year. Boys ages 4 to 14 (the registration system lists 4–15) bring a mom, caregiver or other special guest for an evening of music, dancing, games and spy-themed fun at the Peak Community and Wellness Center in south Jefferson County. Formal attire, spy-inspired accessories or costumes are welcome but not required. Dinner is a spread of heavy appetizers and desserts from Abrusci's Fire and Vine. The dance runs Saturday, November 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and the registration deadline is Monday, November 2. The listed price covers a couple (one child and one adult): $50 for district residents and $64 for non-residents. Additional family members can be added for $28 ($24 for district residents), but only by phone at 303.409.2312 or in person at a Foothills recreation center. Only the child needs to be registered online.
