Thankful for Music is a November creative session for teens at Arapahoe Libraries' Eloise May Library. In the spirit of the season of gratitude, teens come with a favorite song or two in mind and turn it into their own artwork, making something inspired by the music they love and celebrating the soundtrack of their lives. It suits teens who like drawing, collage or other visual art and want a low-pressure after-school hangout. The program runs Monday, November 2, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Arapahoe Libraries designs this event for teens ages 12 to 18 based on the skills practiced and the tools used. Registration is managed through 'My Events' in a library dashboard. Bring the lyrics or song titles you want to work from (on a phone or on paper), since the project starts from music you choose. A second session is listed at the Sheridan Library on November 30.
