Children in kindergarten through 5th grade can get ready for the holiday season by crafting their own Thanksgiving apron at George Memorial Library in Richmond. Using stencils, paint and their imagination, each child designs a unique apron. The craft runs from 3 to 5 p.m. in the library's meeting room on three Tuesdays in the coming weeks: October 27, November 10 and November 24. Seating is limited and first come, first served, and the program is for students in grades K–5 only. Materials are made possible by the Friends of the George Memorial Library; no fee or registration is mentioned on the event page.
