Rosenberg's free holiday festival fills Historic Downtown Rosenberg on Saturday, December 5, from 2 to 8 p.m. Children can skate on an outdoor ice rink, get complimentary photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, watch entertainment and performances, and see a tree-decorating contest and a Lamar CISD student art exhibit. The highlight is the official tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m., when downtown is lit for the season. Local shops, market vendors, restaurants and food trucks line the streets for gifts and treats.
