Rosenberg Library's weekly storytime for young children and their caregivers, held Wednesday mornings from 10 to 10:30 in the Wortham Auditorium in Galveston. Each half-hour session is a playful mix of singing, storytelling and movement planned to promote early literacy and one-on-one interaction between children and their grown-ups; the library lists it for infants, toddlers and preschoolers and describes it for children ages 2–5. On October 28 the session becomes a Halloween Storytime, and costumes are encouraged. No registration or fee is mentioned in the listings.
