Mont Belvieu lights its City Hall Christmas tree on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, in a free family evening from 6 to 8 p.m., with the lighting itself at 6:30 p.m. Highlights include a special photo opportunity with a commemorative keepsake ornament for your own tree, a hot cocoa bar and seasonal treats, sleigh rides around City Hall, and holiday carols sung by the Barbers Hill choir. It is a compact, small-town event well suited to young children, with the tree lighting early enough for a school night. Questions go to the city at 281-576-2213.
