About this adventure

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston sets out a free hands-on station where visitors make a small work of art or write a note on a postcard for a friend, and the museum mails every card for you. It is one of CAMH's Drop-In Experiences: printed instructions guide a short creative activity tied to the exhibitions on view, so families can come and go any time during the afternoon without booking. Children who can hold a pencil or marker can take part, with older kids writing longer messages; it works well as a 20-minute stop combined with a walk through the galleries. Admission to CAMH is always free.
