For Native American Heritage Month and Veterans Day, KCKPL's Main Library runs a code-breaking, puzzle-solving program for homeschool families. Children first learn who the Navajo Code Talkers were and their impact on American history, then use what they learned to work through a set of breakout puzzles. The program is open to ages 5 to 18 with registration; children under 8 must have an adult with them. It runs from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, in the Main Library craft room.
