A holiday-themed homeschool session at the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library's Main Library. Children hear the picture book Olive, the Other Reindeer, about a dog who is sure she is one of Santa's reindeer, and then do STEM experiments built around helping Olive become the reindeer she believes she is. The hour-long program is for children ages 5 to 18 who register; children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. It is a good fit for homeschool families looking for a December science afternoon. Register ahead on the library event page.
