A 45-minute astronomy session for preschoolers at Ernie Miller Nature Center in Olathe. Children aged 2.5 to 5 and their adult explore planets and stars through stories, a craft and a visit inside the nature center's new portable planetarium; this date's theme is "Zoo in the Sky". Children must be able to sit in the planetarium for about 20 minutes, and the program is held indoors. Every child must come with a paying adult, everyone attending registers and pays (the fee is per person, adults included), and infants and toddlers cannot attend. Space is limited, so book ahead through JCPRD.
