A free, come-and-go science and craft afternoon at the Museum at Prairiefire for the winter solstice. Children of all ages learn about the shortest day of the year and the science of light and the seasons, then make their own sun catcher at the craft table to take home. Drop in any time from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 19 - a good holiday-break outing for families with mixed ages.
