On Halloween, Saturday October 31, Olathe Public Library invites children to trick-or-treat inside both of its libraries. Treats are handed out at the service desks that display a 'Trick or Treat' sign, so kids in costume can walk the building, collect candy and maybe pick up a book on the way out. The library lists the event as an all-day feature at the Downtown Library on East Santa Fe Street and at Indian Creek Library on West 135th Street, which means it runs during that day's normal open hours rather than at a fixed start time; check the branch's Saturday hours before going. No registration is needed.
