For one evening before the drive-through opens to cars, Jackson County lets cyclists ride through Christmas in the Park. The 4.5-mile route starts at the Frank White Jr. Softball Complex, follows County Park Road through the hundreds of lighted and animated displays, and returns to the start; each cyclist rides the loop once. The course is open 5:30–7 p.m.: experienced cyclists are asked to arrive between 5:30 and 6, and families after 6. Riders need a two- or three-wheeled bicycle (class 1 or class 3 e-bikes allowed); tricycles, training wheels, scooters, hoverboards and throttle bikes are not permitted, so it suits children who ride confidently on their own. Lights on bikes are encouraged. Free; park at the Longview Community Center.
