Miss Jessie leads a Halloween-week storytime on the mountain at Mt. Charleston Library, reading books about monsters of every kind: cute ones, scary ones and friendly ones. Between stories children sing songs and play imagination-stretching games. The 45-minute session suits babies, toddlers and preschoolers with a grown-up and is a good reason for families in the Spring Mountains or Kyle Canyon to visit the branch. It is free; supplies and seating are first come, first served. Call 702.872.5585 for more information.
