The Electric Light Parade is the second night of Henderson's free WinterFest celebration and the city's big evening parade of the season. Glowing floats, costumed groups, marching bands and cheer teams travel along historic Water Street in downtown Henderson, between Basic Road and Victory Road. The city has announced WinterFest 2026 for December 3 and 4, which puts the parade on Friday, December 4, but this year's start time and entry list are not posted yet. In 2025 the parade ran in the evening and lasted about 90 minutes. Kids can line the curb to watch the lit-up floats roll past, so arrive early to claim a spot along the route and bring blankets or folding chairs and warm jackets. Water Street and several nearby streets close for the event, so plan parking ahead. The city asks that children under 16 come with a parent. Watching is free; confirm the 2026 schedule on the city's WinterFest page before heading out.
