OC Parks

OC Parks' Jr. Ranger Program visits Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park in Laguna Niguel for a one-hour Friday afternoon adventure. Kids explore the canyon wilderness park, complete Jr. Ranger activities along the way and take the Jr. Ranger Oath to earn a badge designed for this park, part of a county program that encourages children to feel they belong in nature and to look after it. The content is aimed at ages 7 to 12 but all are welcome; a parent or guardian must accompany minors. Sunscreen, sturdy footwear and water are recommended. The program itself is free, parking costs $3 per vehicle, advance registration is required, and bad weather cancels it.
