A Saturday Jr. Ranger outing in the Nature Area of Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley. Led by OC Parks staff, children explore the park's nature area, complete Jr. Ranger activities and take the OC Parks Jr. Ranger Oath to earn a Mile Square badge. Meet in parking lot H at the entrance to the Nature Area. The session is designed for ages 7 to 12, though younger and older siblings are welcome, and minors need a parent or guardian with them. Wear sturdy shoes and bring sunscreen and water. There are two sessions in the window: a morning one on October 24 and an early-afternoon one on November 21. The program is free; parking is $5 per vehicle and advance registration is required.
