The county program aims to help kids feel they belong outdoors and to grow into stewards of the region's natural and cultural resources. It is designed for ages 7 to 12 but open to all, with a parent or guardian required for minors. Bring sunscreen, sturdy footwear and water. Free program; $3 parking per vehicle; advance registration required; inclement weather cancels.
