A short, not-so-spooky Halloween morning for the library's youngest visitors: library staff put on an original Halloween play in the third-floor auditorium, followed by trick-or-treating inside the library. Costumes are encouraged. The program runs 30 minutes (10:30–11:00 a.m.) and is aimed at children from birth to 5 years with their caregivers, so it works well as a first, gentle Halloween outing for toddlers and preschoolers. Free; part of the library's Not-So-Spooky Month. Downtown parking garages are nearby on Clematis Street.
