A musical adaptation of L. Frank Baum's story, first produced by the Prince Street Players, playing in Actors' Playhouse's children's theatre series at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables. Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodsman and the Cowardly Lion set off to find the Wizard while dodging the Wicked Witch of the West, in a short, funny version pitched at young audiences. Public performances are Saturdays at 2 p.m. through October 31, so two shows remain in the window (October 24 and 31 — the Halloween matinee is a natural fit for kids in costume). Weekday 10:30 a.m. performances are for school field trips. A Kidsbill program is posted online. Tickets via the box office at 305-444-9293.
