Every Wednesday afternoon the Museum of Miami invites parents and guardians of elementary and K-8 center students to explore Miami's history together for free. From 2 to 5 pm families take self-guided tours of the exhibits; at 3 pm a one-hour guided tour of Tropical Dreams: A People's History of South Florida is offered for up to 20 people. Families can also add their own story to the museum's Kaleidoscope — Many Voices, One Miami project. Advance registration is required for both the self-guided entry and the guided tour, and students must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
