Richardson Nature Center in Bloomington runs a free one-hour drop-in nature session each Sunday afternoon in November, each with its own topic: Minnesota Raptors (Nov 1), Stories by the Campfire (Nov 8), Backyard Birds (Nov 15), Turkey Talk (Nov 22) and Mammal Molars and Canines (Nov 29). A naturalist is on hand to answer questions while visitors work through hands-on activities that can include a short hike, exhibit discovery or an exploration kit. Designed for individuals and families with learners of all ages; no registration is needed, just drop in between 3 and 4 p.m. Activities are partly outdoors, so dress for the weather. Equipment is provided.
