City of Coolidge Parks and Recreation

Coolidge Parks and Recreation's Christmas in the Park fills San Carlos Park on Friday, December 11, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, and the evening ends with the city's Christmas Light Parade, which starts at 7:00 pm. During the park event Santa is available for pictures from 4:00 to 6:45 pm; the city charges $2 for one picture or $3 for two. The lighted parade awards cash prizes and trophies to the top three overall entries, so expect decorated floats and vehicles competing for first place. It is an after-dark outing best suited to families whose children can stay out until about 8 pm. The city's 2026 special-events brochure gives only these core details; the parade route and any other activities are not printed, so check the city's Parks and Recreation pages closer to the date. San Carlos Park is the same park that hosts Coolidge Days each October.
