Teens who want their presents to look impressive can bring their gifts to The Makery at Chandler's Downtown Library for a drop-in gift-wrapping workshop the week before winter break. Staff show techniques for neat folds, ribbons and finishing touches, and wrapping supplies are provided, so the only thing to bring is the gift itself. Drop in any time from 3 to 4:30 p.m.; no registration is listed. A practical holiday skill for ages 13 to 17, and a quiet after-school hour away from home where the gifts stay a surprise.
