The Phoenix Symphony plays John Debney's complete score live to the film Elf on a giant screen at Symphony Hall over Thanksgiving weekend. Buddy, raised among Santa's elves at the North Pole, travels to New York in full elf uniform to find his real father — a holiday movie many families already know, which makes it an approachable first orchestra concert for school-age kids who can sit through a feature-length film. Three matinees: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 27–29, 2026, each at 2:00 PM. Tickets are sold through the Symphony's site; prices were not printed on the show page.
