Hale Centre Theatre in downtown Gilbert stages its 24th annual production of Dickens' A Christmas Carol, a holiday tradition rich with traditional carols, period costumes and memorable characters, performed in the round. The run is November 27 through December 24, 2026, with a running time of about two hours. The theatre's content note says it is a traditional, magical ghost story with atmospheric 'ghostly' imagery, spooky moments and brief depictions of Victorian poverty; some sequences may be intense for very young children, but it ends joyfully. No children under 5 are permitted. Tickets: adults $58–$75, youth (ages 5–17) $40–$55. ASL interpretation is offered on Monday, December 7 at 8 PM. Group and season rates apply only November 27 – December 10.
