For one December Sunday the historic Foltz one-room schoolhouse at Jennings Environmental Education Center is decorated for the holidays. Holiday-themed interactive displays fill the restored classroom, docents give background on the school and answer questions, and light refreshments are served while supplies last. The open day is free with no registration, runs noon to 4 pm, and has parking and restrooms on site — an easy, low-key holiday stop for families in Butler County.
