Hometown Homegrown fills Phipps Conservatory with a showcase of Pittsburgh's local food scene on Sunday, October 18, from noon to 5 p.m. Presented with GoodTaste! Pittsburgh, the day brings dozens of local vendors with samples and foods to buy, chef demonstrations in the Botany Hall Teaching Kitchen and entertaining activities for all ages. It is included with regular Conservatory admission, which also covers the Fall Flower Show: Alice's Adventures in Autumn, so families can pair tasting with the Wonderland-themed chrysanthemum displays. Members and children under two get in free.
