Kamin Science Center brings the animated holiday film The Polar Express back to its Rangos Giant Cinema in 3D on select days from Saturday, November 28 through Christmas Eve. The film follows Hero Boy on a night train ride to the North Pole; it is rated G, the center lists it for all ages, and it runs 100 minutes. Screenings are on November 28 and 29, December 5, 12, 13 and 19, and every day from December 21 to 24. Most days have a 2:45 pm and a 5:30 pm show; on December 24 the times move to 10:00 am and 1:30 pm. Movie tickets are separate from museum admission: $12, or $10 for Carnegie Museums members. Online sales are paused while the center changes ticketing systems, so buy at the first-floor ticket counter or by phone. Doors open an hour before showtime, late entry is not allowed, and the center asks guests to arrive 15 minutes early; concessions, including hot chocolate, can be bought before the show.
